I take looks and style seriously. It is yet another way for me to express my creative sides, and since I am a strong opposer of so-called 'normality' it is only natural for me to try and find as many different ways as possible to look and act different.
I became alternative around the age of 15, and started to grow my hair and dress black. As you can imagine, I had to break my connections with people who didn't really understand my new ways. It is funny how quickly people start to show you their true colors when you show your own.
Around the age of 18 I started to wear more Victorian clothing and did more interesting photoshoots.... and it kind of went on from there.
Today I'm always trying to find more extreme ways to dress myself, and not once have I thought about stopping. I constantly have a lot of visions about how to attain a perfect look.
Getting hate and bad comments because of my looks is quite rare. To me, it seems that people do recognize me for who I am, and therefore have no reason to complain. But I've also noticed the fear in the eyes of people. I find that kind of funny...

Hahaha! I love it when people are afraid of us goths... like we could actually hex them or cast some kind of curse.
If only they knew what a harmless pacifist I was :D It's not so much that I wouldn't hurt a fly, it's more that I couldn't... The fly would probably kick my ass XD
@geyagirl
Indeed. ; ) Haha, thanks!
@Ruby toe
Yeah, it's gotten better as of late. Maybe because it's winter xD
@hister
Mh, sometimes I wish I could have experienced that age. But I can imagine that it was tougher back then when it came to expressing oneself.
@punchkin
Anything that looks intimidating and 'vampiric', if you will. : ) I prefer silver, leather, latex, pvc and other interesting fabrics.
